When Anne Sutton signed up for a blanket stitch class from Margaret Peters, she had no idea it would change her life forever! It was the beginning of a new friendship and a new career. Anne has been quilting for only seven years, but sewing, which she has done since the age of eight, has always been a passion. She was the director of catering at a four-star hotel for many years, and yet she continued to sew every chance she had. She loves that she can finally put her courses to good use!
Anne has been featured in Garden-Inspired Quilts by Jean and Valori Wells, and American Patchwork and Quilting (December 2003). She also completed a program in fashion design with training in sewing techniques, pattern drafting, fabric, and color study. Her 20-pound cat named Mr. Paws has also had a full-page spread in American Patchwork and Quilting (June 2003), but so far he hasn't taken up quilting. Anne designs under the name of "Bunny Hill Designs."
