Paige Alexander acquired the beginning skills for sewing at a young age while sitting on the knee of her grandmother at her 1949 Singer. While Paige was crafty growing up in northwest Mississippi and even made a Trip Around the World baby quilt (without a pattern) for a cousin while in college, she truly began her quilting journey in 2003 after window shopping at a quilt shop in upstate South Carolina. Paige quickly joined her local quilt guild, UpCountry Quilters Guild in Pickens, where she has served in many roles including president and treasurer and was instrumental in the formation of the local Greenville chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild.
Paige's attention to detail, precision, and design work has earned her awards from international quilt shows including the American Quilter's Society, National Quilting Association and the Modern Quilt Guild's QuiltCon. Paige lives with her husband in Easley, SC on his family’s century old farm surrounded by pine trees. You can find her blogging at QuiltedBlooms.com and on Instagram @QuiltedBlooms.
