Sew Illustrated Blog Tour Kickoff!

Hi Everyone! We are thrilled to be kicking off the blog tour for our book Sew Illustrated: 35 Charming Fabric & Thread Designs: 16 Zakka Projects here on the C&T blog. We’ve lined up an all-star group of designers/bloggers to share the projects they have chosen to make from the book. We are on the edge of our seats to see what they have created.

The cornerstone technique of the book is called sewing illustration. It is quick to learn, fun to do, and a perfect way to embellish all kinds of sewing projects. Sew Illustrated includes 16 Zakka projects to show off the sewing illustration designs—but the beauty is that you can mix and match them to come up with endless combinations. And that’s just the beginning! You can also use your own drawings or your child’s drawings to create projects that will become family treasures.

We had such fun creating this book and hope that you find many projects in it that will inspire you to surround yourself with homemade goodness.
